Australian Wanderings Part 12 - Toolangi!

Bill and I spent a very enjoyable Easter Sunday in the hills northeast of Melbourne. My friends Gary and Christine drove us to Toolangi, a beautiful area filled with gum trees, rolling hills, and twisty roads to visit Donna and David, a couple I first met in 2008. We ate, talked, wined, and generally had a fine time. David is an accomplished artist who creates magnificently sensuous wooden boxes and sells them at boutiques throughout the area. Their home is filled with colour and marvellous energy. A fine way to spend Easter Sunday!

Today is a rest day - lunch with Gary and Vivien, laundry, and groceries. Tomorrow (Tuesday), we’re planning to visit Ballarat, west of Melbourne. On Wednesday, we’re booked to fly to Hobart, Tasmania. The adventures continue!
