We’re experiencing our third day in Hobart, a
blustery, on-again/off-again rainy day with lots of wind. People in Hobart keep
apologizing for the weather, to which we respond, “Well, we’re not shovelling
it, so it’s just fine with us!”
Our infatuation with Tasmania and Hobart continues –
what a glorious corner of the world! Today, we explored fabric shops and
artisan studios at the Salamanca Arts Centre. Tomorrow, we plan take a boat to
the famously quirky MONA (Museum of Old and New Art), followed by a trip to the
Port Arthur Historic Site on Friday and a stroll through the Salamanca Market
on Saturday. Needless to say, my camera is working over time!
The photos: four photos from our trip to the Blue
Mountains west of Sydney on Sunday (Thanks, Rob, for such a great trip!) plus six photos from Hobart. Enjoy!
